The Ludwig Classic Oak Shell Pack 24" Pro Beat - Black Sparkle is built on the original Ludwig, cross-over, Oak shell formula that has captivated professionals for the last decade. Ludwig's exclusive design blends Oak and Maple to produce a rich tone that is balanced, focused, and loud. Blending aggressive attack and dark tones with quick even decay, the Classic series Oak is ideal for settings where volume, attack, and control are of the utmost priority.
The Classic Oak series' 5-ply, 6.5mm cross-over shell features a 3-ply Maple core with American Red Oak inner and outer plies. This is a proprietary Ludwig design not traditional to most Oak builds. The Maple adds more control and low-end to the Oak to produce a more well-rounded tone as opposed to a straight Oak shell. To increase stability throughout the drum, all Ludwig USA shells are produced using Radio Frequency Shell Technology. Using a process involving Ludwig's historic bladder molds that date back to the late 1960's, R.F.S.T.'s unique bonding system, combined with a specialized, time-tested adhesive, cures each shell evenly over the entire surface of the shell. Each drum's bearing edge is cut to a 45-degree angle within 1/16" from the outside edge. This profile is critical for a wide tuning range, and maximum sustain. The edge is hand-sanded to the craftsman's touch to assure a smooth, even, flat surface for easy head seating; the final touch to complete the unmistakable Ludwig Sound.

At Sky Music we are committed in offering the best prices in Australia. That is why on top of our Best Price Guarantee, we offer free shipping on most orders over $199.
Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.

- Delivery Time
Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.

Returns Procedure

To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
- 30-Day Returns Policy
Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
