BENCH TIME FOR REPAIRS :
Any repair work is billed at $100 p/hour in 15 minute increments, e.g. 15 mins = $25, 30 mins = $50.
Parts & setups are not included in this fee and are
charged separately.
Time estimates as follows:
Fret spot level (level, crown and polish one high fret) - 30 minutes
Acoustic Strap Button Installation (includes strap buttons) - 15 Minutes
Output jack (remove the old, install the new) - 15 minutes
Potentiometer (remove the old, install the new) - 30 minutes
Nut - remove the old, shape and install the new pre-cut nut) - 1 hour
Nut - custom made from scratch (remove the old, install the new) - 2 hours
Switch pickup selector (remove the old, install the new) - 30 minutes
Upgrade a set of tuners (remove the old, install the new) - 30 minutes
Upgrade a set of bridge saddles (remove the old, install the new) - 45 minutes
Install Strat pickguard (remove the old, install the new) - 1 hour
Shielding - copper tape cavity shielding - 1 hours & 30 minutes
Terms & Conditions :
- Instruments received with a No Problem Found diagnosis may be subject to a $25 minimum bench fee + shipping.
- Quote & Warranty estimates provided initially are subject to change.
Customers will be notified regarding any changes prior to action being commenced.
- Unique parts requested for any service may be considered a special order which require full payment before goods can be ordered.
- Final payment(s) for any service provided must be processed before instrument is collected/shipped.
- Customers who fail to collect their instruments within 2 weeks from date of notification that work has been completed will be provided written clarification that Sky Music intends to dispose of or sell the ‘uncollected goods’ if not collected within 28 days. If written notice cannot be provided, Sky Music will hold the goods for 180 days before disposing of or selling the goods.
- Sky Music provides a 30 day warranty on all repair work completed.
- All repairs and modifications carried out by Sky Music may impact manufacturer warranty.

Pricing is for labor only and does not include the cost of parts.
Basic Maintenance
$49 not including strings (+$20 for classical, 12 string & locking tremolo such as Floyd Rose, Kahler and similar)
Standard Setup & Maintenance
$120 Not including strings (+$20 for classical, 12 string & locking tremolo such as Floyd Rose, Kahler and similar)
Deluxe Setup & Maintenance
$199 Not including strings (+$20 for classical, 12 string & locking tremolo such as Floyd Rose, Kahler and similar)
Pickup Replacements (May be subject to change for variations including custom wiring or routing)
